Our commitment to ethical practices and human rights.
Aqualux Lighting Pty Ltd is committed to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking in all aspects of our business and supply chain. This statement sets out the steps we have taken to ensure that slavery and human trafficking are not taking place in our business or supply chains.
Our Business
Aqualux Lighting is an Australian-owned company specializing in the design and manufacture of high-quality outdoor and landscape lighting solutions. We operate from our facility in Frenchs Forest, NSW, and supply products throughout Australia and internationally.
Our Supply Chain
Our supply chain includes the sourcing of raw materials, electronic components, and finished goods from suppliers both domestically and internationally. We work with a select group of trusted suppliers who share our commitment to ethical business practices.
Our Policies
We are committed to ensuring that there is no modern slavery or human trafficking in our supply chains or in any part of our business. Our Anti-Slavery Policy reflects our commitment to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships.
We implement and enforce effective systems and controls to ensure slavery and human trafficking are not taking place anywhere in our supply chains.
Due Diligence Processes
As part of our initiative to identify and mitigate risk, we have implemented the following measures:
- Regular assessment of our supply chain to identify potential risks of modern slavery
- Due diligence checks on all new suppliers before entering into contracts
- Inclusion of anti-slavery clauses in our supplier contracts
- Ongoing monitoring of existing suppliers for compliance with our ethical standards
- Encouraging suppliers to implement their own anti-slavery policies
Supplier Adherence
We require all suppliers to adhere to our ethical standards, which include the prohibition of forced labor, child labor, and any form of human trafficking. We conduct periodic reviews of our suppliers to ensure ongoing compliance.
Training
We provide training to our staff to ensure a high level of understanding of the risks of modern slavery and human trafficking in our supply chains and our business. Key staff involved in procurement are given specific training on identifying and responding to potential issues.
Reporting Concerns
We encourage all employees, suppliers, and business partners to report any concerns related to modern slavery. Reports can be made confidentially and without fear of retaliation. Any concerns should be directed to our management team at [email protected].
Our Effectiveness
We measure our effectiveness in ensuring that slavery and human trafficking are not taking place in our business or supply chains through regular reviews, supplier audits, and stakeholder feedback.
